Episode #4, #5, & #6

Well... I really have no good excuse for not keeping up with my posting except that A) I have been really busy and B) I got a nice eye infection (I don't know why that didn't allow me, but hey, it is an excuse).

Anyway... Cathy and I watched three episodes in a row last night. I gotta say it was tough to keep track of whether the challenge was an immunity or reward. But I got them all watched and will try to keep up next Wednesday! Remember it isn't Thursday next week because of the NCAA Tournament.

So here are some thoughts:
Episode #4 -
  1. The fans were really, really disorganized and in utter turmoil.
  2. Ozzy is an all star... his strategy in the reward challenge was brilliant. No need for bad swimmers and girls to have to do all that work.
  3. James was really excited about solving the puzzle... "If I can get the freakin' puzzle!"
  4. Ozzy is just the man finding the immunity idol... Could he of fashioned a better fake?
  5. The fans turmoil showed itself in the immunity challenge.
  6. I think Joel was correct in voting out Mikey B. It wasn't going to work with both of them. Tracy is turning out to be a kniving little player.

Episode #5

  1. I liked the mixing up of tribes early, I thought it would stop the original teams, but it didn't.
  2. That was the most brutal challenge I think I've seen in a while. How about Joel dragging Chet along... Jonathon really hurt himself too. That was a nasty cut.
  3. I wonder if the Airai tribe got to eat those steaks after the tide washed out their fire!
  4. Man, were there some people who couldn't throw stones in the immunity challenge. I think Jonathon was right in complaining, they had some bad luck with how those tiles fell. Luckily the other tribe couldn't put together a puzzle.
  5. I liked how Ozzy blindsided Joel, he was just too brazen in the way he played.

Episode #6

  1. The reward challenge was interesting, I wonder what kind of blockades they could have come up with some time to plan.
  2. I felt really bad for Jonathon (not his owners)... he was on his way to the end. His leg didn't look good though. Kathy did, though, bug me with her crying after only 3 days.
  3. Those two natives were pretty cool. Did Parvati ask Joe if he was married?
  4. I sure hope Jason plays that fake immunity idol.
  5. James is amazing, I don't think he even needed those other girls to carry the pole.
  6. Tracy and Ami had their chance with Chet to get out Ozzy, he better watch out... Chet is a whimp.

Well... may be after next week I'll have my top 5 list. If you haven't paid, do so soon please.

Episode #3

Here are some thoughts from Episode #3:

  1. There is some real discontent on the Fans team.
  2. So who else wanted to see James v. Joel!
  3. There were some pretty sweet war paint out there. Alexis took some nice hits in that reward challenge. I wonder how long that really took.
  4. Those two chicks, Parvati and Amanda, are using those two guys. I wonder how this is all going to turn out.
  5. Kathy is from Wisconsin? First we get a man named Sue in the first one and now her!
  6. Why is Parvati on the holder side of that immunity challenge? That seemed really dumb.
  7. I think that Cirie being the center of attention is going to come back and bite her…
